Rebecca White was killed in a deadly stabbing attack Monday night at an office building on Lee Road in Orange County, Florida. Authorities confirmed that White, a licensed mental health counselor, died from severe injuries sustained during the violent incident.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office said the attack happened during a therapy session at the building. Investigators identified the suspect as 39-year-old Michael Smith, a former client of White. Deputies said Smith entered the office unexpectedly and demanded to speak with her while she was meeting with another client.

According to investigators, White confronted Smith and instructed him to leave the office. When the male client attempted to call 911, Smith allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed both individuals. White suffered critical injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she later died.
