Fatal Bucks County, Pennsylvania car crash death of David Pawlowski – Obituary

David Pawlowski, 31, of Levittown, was killed during a storm-related traffic collision that occurred Sunday evening in Middletown Township, Bucks County, as winter weather created dangerous driving conditions across the region.

Authorities said the crash happened around 6:05 p.m. along Veterans Highway near the Hong Luck restaurant. Middletown Township police arrived to find two vehicles involved — a white Genesis GV80 traveling southbound and a brown Range Rover heading northbound.

Investigators determined that the Genesis lost control, crossed into the opposite lane, and struck the Range Rover before overturning onto its roof. Pawlowski, who was driving the Genesis, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver and passenger of the Range Rover were not seriously injured and remained at the location, cooperating fully with investigators. Police continue to examine the circumstances that led to the crash, including the impact of ongoing winter storms at the time.

In a separate incident linked to the same period of severe weather, authorities confirmed that 34-year-old Matthew Ronca of Lancaster was killed early Monday morning when a tanker truck overturned on the off-ramp from eastbound Interstate 276 to Route 1 in Trevose. Ronca became trapped inside the truck after it slid down an embankment and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Both crashes remain under investigation by local and state police agencies. Anyone who witnessed the Middletown Township collision is urged to contact Officer Matt Balint of the Middletown Township Police Department.
