Fatal Boise car crash death of Todd Distin – Obituary

Todd Distin, 58, of Boise, passed away Sunday, Jan. 18, at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center due to complications from blunt force injuries sustained in a traffic accident earlier that week.

The crash occurred on Jan. 15 at the intersection of South Cole Road and West Amity Road when Distin’s 2014 Toyota Avalon collided with a 2015 Hyundai Tucson driven by a 77-year-old woman. According to the Ada County Sheriff’s Office, the Hyundai was traveling southbound and struck Distin’s vehicle as he attempted to turn east onto Amity Road.

Both drivers were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The condition of the 77-year-old woman has not been released.
