Terrell Burton dies in fatal Philadelphia, Pennsylvania train accident
Fatal Philadelphia, Pennsylvania train accident death of Terrell Burton – Obituary
Authorities have identified the man who died after falling onto the tracks at a Broad Street Line station in Philadelphia as Terrell Burton, 41, of the 1600 block of West Allegheny Avenue.
The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. when Burton exited the train at the 4200 N. Broad Street station. As the train began moving southbound, he stepped backward and fell into the gap between the train and the platform, where he was struck by the train.
Philadelphia Fire Department crews arrived and pronounced Burton dead at the scene at approximately 2:03 a.m. Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the accident.
