Fatal Huntington Beach, California shooting death of Tyquan Devone Maurice Rawlins – Obituary

Tyquan Devone Maurice Rawlins, a 35-year-old man from Long Beach, was killed Sunday night after being shot at a residence in Huntington Beach, authorities confirmed.

Police responded around 11:30 p.m. to a home on the 4500 block of Scenario Drive, where they found Rawlins suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a nearby hospital but was pronounced dead shortly afterward. The Orange County Coroner later confirmed his identity.

Huntington Beach police arrested 48-year-old Robert Emery, a local resident, in connection with the shooting. He has been booked into the Huntington Beach City Jail for murder. Authorities stated the incident appears to be isolated and that there is no ongoing threat to the community.
