David Wayne Neal dies in fatal incident at Alameda Park

Fatal Alameda Park death of David Wayne Neal – Obituary

David Wayne Neal, 66, of Santa Barbara, was found deceased at Alameda Park on Friday morning. Santa Barbara Police responded to a report of an unresponsive person near a bench at the park on Santa Barbara St. around 10 a.m. When emergency crews arrived, they discovered Neal without a pulse. Despite efforts to revive him, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities stated there were no signs of foul play, and the Santa Barbara County Sheriff-Coroner’s Office confirmed Neal was a transient who resided in the area. The cause of death remains under investigation.
