Jeomy M. Soto, a 19-year-old from Allentown, was fatally shot and later died at a local hospital Thursday evening. The Lehigh County Coroner confirmed his death at 9:50 p.m., citing gunshot injuries as the cause and classifying it as a homicide.

The incident occurred shortly after 9 p.m. in the alley behind Washington Street, near the 500 block of Carrot Street, when gunfire was reported. Authorities have not announced any arrests in connection with the shooting and continue to investigate the circumstances.
