Fatal Beverly Grove pedestrian crash death of Leopold Trumpet – Obituary

Leopold Trumpet, 74, was killed early Monday morning after being struck by a vehicle in Beverly Grove, Los Angeles. The collision occurred at 1:08 a.m. at the intersection of La Cienega and San Vicente boulevards, near the Beverly Center.

Authorities reported that Trumpet was in the street when the northbound vehicle on La Cienega struck him. He was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement as the investigation continues.
