William Marcus Hunnicutt dies in fatal Keystone Resort snowboarding crash

Fatal Keystone Resort snowboarding crash death of William Marcus Hunnicutt – Obituary

William Marcus Hunnicutt, 32, of Aurora, tragically lost his life in a snowboarding crash at Keystone Resort on January 19. The accident occurred in the afternoon on Lower Go Devil, a black-diamond run near the Mountain House West base area. Hunnicutt, who was riding with friends at the time, crashed, but authorities reported that no trees, blunt objects, or other people were involved. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the incident.

Keystone Ski Patrol responded immediately, providing medical care and transporting Hunnicutt to the Keystone Medical Center. Sadly, he was pronounced dead there. The Summit County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the cause of the crash.
