Authorities have identified the man who was shot and killed in Stockton on Tuesday night as 33-year-old Andre Bragg Jr. Bragg was found at the scene on the 300 block of South San Joaquin Street and transported to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Stockton police reported that officers responded to the area near East Sonora and South San Joaquin streets around 5:55 p.m. following reports of a shooting. Homicide detectives are investigating the incident, but officials said there is currently no known motive or releasable information regarding suspects.
