Becky Annette Anderson, 53, of Imboden, was killed Friday afternoon in a two-vehicle collision on U.S. 49 in Craighead County.

Arkansas State Police reported the crash occurred around 4:45 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. 49 and Honeysuckle in Brookland. Preliminary findings indicate that Anderson’s northbound vehicle crossed the center turn lane and struck a southbound Chevrolet, sending both cars into roadside ditches. Two children in the southbound vehicle were injured and transported to NEA Hospital for treatment. Authorities said weather and road conditions were clear at the time, and the incident remains under investigation.
