Authorities have identified the man who was killed in a shooting at a hotel in Baton Rouge on Wednesday night as 36-year-old Kevin White Jr. White was pronounced dead at the scene after sustaining gunshot wounds.

According to police, the incident occurred just before 8 p.m. at the Eagles Suites Hotel on Boardwalk Drive. Emergency responders reported that White was found on a balcony with fatal injuries.

The Baton Rouge Police Department is actively investigating the shooting. Officials have asked anyone with information regarding the incident to contact BRPD or Crime Stoppers.
