Fatal San Juan shooting death of Omar Padilla – Obituary
Omar Padilla, 33, of Philadelphia, died on January 22 after being shot while on vacation in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Authorities reported that Padilla and his fiancée, Kelly Crispín, were driving along Roosevelt Street near Blanca Street in the Figueroa ward of Santurce on January 3 when multiple shots were fired at their vehicle.
Padilla was struck in the head and later died at the hospital, while Crispín sustained gunshot wounds to her hand and shoulder. Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
