Fatal Florida cross-state shooting deaths of Larisa Blyudaya, Ben Azizov, Florita Stolyar, Anatoly Ioffe, Stan Blyudoy, Olga Greinert – Obituary

Six people were killed in a deadly cross-state shooting in Florida on February 10, including Larisa Blyudaya, her 18-year-old son Ben Azizov, her mother Florita Stolyar, her stepfather Anatoly Ioffe, her brother Stan Blyudoy, and the family housekeeper Olga Greinert. The perpetrator, 51-year-old Russell Kot, who had previously been in a relationship with Larisa, took his own life following the attacks.

The shootings began at Larisa’s Fort Lauderdale residence, where Kot killed Larisa and Ben. He then drove over 200 miles to Sarasota, where he attacked the “Fallcrest residence,” murdering Florita Stolyar, Anatoly Ioffe, Stan Blyudoy, and Olga Greinert. Authorities reported that each victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds.

Investigators noted that no clear motive has been identified, and review of Kot’s phone records did not reveal any triggering event. He had prior access to the Sarasota home and had cared for the family’s animals in the months leading up to the tragedy. Searches of his vehicle revealed multiple firearms, knives, and other weapons.

The victims’ families and friends have established GoFundMe campaigns to help cover funeral and burial expenses, honoring the lives of those lost in this devastating spree. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shootings.
