Fatal Garfield County, Oklahoma car crash death of Jackie Scribner – Obituary

A serious single-vehicle accident in Garfield County has claimed the life of 75-year-old Jackie Scribner of Waukomis.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Scribner was driving south on Imo Road in a 1963 Ford Falcon, about a quarter-mile south of Southgate Road, when her car left the roadway. The vehicle entered a ditch, struck a tree, went airborne, hit a concrete culvert, and rolled approximately half a turn before landing on its roof in a creek bed.

Officials reported that Scribner was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal accident.
