Thomas Sumner Tannen dies in fatal St. Joe, Arkansas pedestrian crash

Fatal St. Joe, Arkansas pedestrian crash death of Thomas Sumner Tannen – Obituary

An accident on U.S. 65 in St. Joe claimed the life of Thomas Sumner Tannen, a resident of Mountain Home, on Monday evening.

According to the Arkansas State Police, Tannen was walking southbound along the roadway at approximately 6:20 p.m. on Feb. 9 when he was struck by a 1997 GMC Sierra pickup truck. He died at the scene from injuries sustained in the collision.

Authorities reported that weather conditions were clear and the road was dry at the time of the incident. Tannen’s family has been notified of his passing. The crash remains under review by the Arkansas State Police.
