Francesco Scutari dies in fatal Walnutport, Pennsylvania car crash

Fatal Walnutport, Pennsylvania car crash death of Francesco Scutari – Obituary

An 86-year-old man, Francesco Scutari of Towamensing Township, Carbon County, lost his life following a collision in Walnutport on Friday morning.

According to the Northampton County Coroner’s Office, Scutari was driving alone when his vehicle was involved in a crash with a tractor-trailer at the intersection of Route 145 and North Best Avenue at approximately 9:30 a.m. Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene.

Officials determined that his death resulted from multiple blunt-force injuries and ruled the manner of death as accidental.

The Walnutport Police Department is continuing to examine the circumstances surrounding the fatal collision.
