Fatal Greenwood car crash death of Taniko Kenyetta Davis – Obituary

Taniko Kenyetta Davis, 32, of Greenwood, lost her life late at night in a single-vehicle crash along Emerald Road.

The collision happened at approximately 11:25 p.m. between Wilson Creek Road and Pinehurst Drive. According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, Davis was driving toward Highway 246 when her vehicle suddenly veered off the roadway.

Authorities said the vehicle struck a ditch, then crashed into a fence and a tree before overturning. During the violent sequence, Davis was thrown from the vehicle and died at the scene.

Investigators reported that she had not been wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. The incident was investigated as a fatal single-vehicle accident.
