Fatal Milton crash deaths of Charlene Broccolo and Albert Broccolo – Obituary

Charlene Broccolo, 62, and Albert Broccolo, 64, both from Bel Air, Maryland, were killed Friday afternoon in a multi-vehicle collision on Coastal Highway in Milton, Delaware. Authorities confirmed the pair died after their Ford Edge was struck from behind by a Peterbilt dump truck around 2:30 p.m., triggering a chain-reaction crash involving four other vehicles.

The pileup also involved a Nissan Altima, a BMW X2, and a BMW 135. Other drivers, from Millsboro, Milton, and Wilmington, sustained non-life-threatening injuries, while the 74-year-old Lewes man driving the BMW 135 was unharmed. Coastal Highway was closed for roughly five hours as police investigated and cleared the scene.
