Fatal Butler Township, Pa. car crash death of Deborah Ann Myers – Obituary
Authorities have confirmed that Deborah Ann Myers, 67, of Butler, lost her life following a two-vehicle collision that occurred Wednesday near the intersection of Pittsburgh Road and Decatur Drive in Butler Township.
According to investigators, Myers had been traveling west along Decatur Drive when she entered the intersection and her vehicle was struck by another car operated by a 36-year-old driver from Karns City.
Butler Township Police Department is continuing to examine the circumstances surrounding the crash. Korynne Young of the Butler County Coroner’s Office determined that Myers died from blunt force trauma to the chest and ruled the manner of death as accidental.
Emergency responders who assisted at the scene included Butler Ambulance Service, the Butler Township Volunteer Fire District, and the Butler Bureau of Fire, along with township police.
