Stephen Rausch dies in fatal St. Louis County, Mo. motorcycle crash

Fatal St. Louis County, Mo. motorcycle crash death of Stephen Rausch – Obituary

Authorities reported that Stephen Rausch, 67, of Arnold, died after a motorcycle accident in south St. Louis County.

According to the St. Louis County Police Department, officers from the South County Precinct responded around 7:19 p.m. to the 5200 block of Lemay Ferry Road following reports of a single-motorcycle crash.

Investigators said Rausch had been riding south on Lemay Ferry Road when the motorcycle struck a curb. He was thrown from the bike after losing control.

Emergency responders transported him to a nearby hospital with critical injuries, but he later died from those injuries.

Police continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash.
