Fatal Limerick Township, Pa. car crash death of Zachery Carbo – Obituary

Authorities confirmed that Zachery Carbo, 18, of Norristown, lost his life following a police pursuit that ended in a crash on Route 422.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police, the incident took place during the early morning hours of February 14. Carbo had been driving a Kia eastbound in Limerick Township when troopers attempted to stop him for alleged traffic violations. Officials said he did not pull over, and a chase followed.

The pursuit continued into Upper Merion Township, where the vehicle eventually slammed into a concrete highway barrier. Carbo was pronounced dead at the scene.

Three teenage passengers inside the vehicle survived but were injured. Their identities have not been released.

Family members and friends described Carbo as a kind and cheerful young man whose presence brought happiness to those around him. A fundraiser has been organized to help his loved ones as they cope with the loss.

The crash remains under investigation by state police.
