Fatal Moorpark, California car crash death of Anabel Zamora – Obituary

Anabel Zamora, 41, of Los Angeles, was among two women who lost their lives in a two-vehicle collision near Highway 23 in Moorpark on February 28.

Authorities reported that the crash occurred off Highway 23 and involved two vehicles. Zamora and another victim, Mayra Garcia, 21, were both residents of Los Angeles and were pronounced dead following the collision.

According to the Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office, both women suffered multiple blunt force injuries as a result of the crash. Officials ruled their deaths accidental.

Investigators have not released additional details about the circumstances surrounding the collision as the investigation continues.
