Fatal Washoe County, Nevada motorcycle crash death of Clovis Wong – Obituary
Authorities have identified the motorcyclist who lost his life in a collision that occurred in late February in Washoe County. The victim was 22-year-old Clovis Wong of Sparks.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, which operates under the Nevada State Police, officers were called to the scene of a crash on South Virginia Street just north of Damonte Ranch Parkway at approximately 5:30 p.m. on February 26.
Investigators say a 2018 Ram pickup truck was heading south on South Virginia Street at the time of the incident. Meanwhile, Wong was traveling north on a Kawasaki ZX-10 motorcycle in the inside travel lane.
Preliminary findings indicate that the truck driver attempted to turn left into a nearby parking lot while the motorcycle was approaching. During the maneuver, the motorcycle struck the front portion of the pickup.
