Fatal St. Paul, Minnesota crash death of Tha Wah – Obituary
Authorities have identified the man killed late Tuesday night in St. Paul as 51-year-old Tha Wah.
The crash occurred around 11 p.m. on Robert Street when a Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office squad car, responding with lights and siren, collided with Wah’s vehicle while it was traveling north.
Wah was pronounced dead at the scene. A 44-year-old woman and a 4-year-old boy, who were passengers in Wah’s car, were transported to the hospital with injuries, with the woman’s condition described as life-threatening.
The deputy driving the squad car, along with a passenger, sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The collision happened during a pursuit of a stolen vehicle, and authorities later arrested a 27-year-old man in connection with the theft.
The Minnesota State Patrol continues to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
