Alex Fleming, 42, was found dead near a canal in Phoenix on the morning of Friday, March 6, 2026. Officers responding to the area of 24th and Oak streets shortly before 8 a.m. discovered Fleming unresponsive with visible signs of trauma and pronounced her dead at the scene.
Homicide detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding her death and have been collecting evidence, including reviewing nearby surveillance footage. The official cause of death has not yet been released, pending the medical examiner’s report.
