Authorities report that a 27-year-old man was fatally shot early Monday morning in Jackson, Mississippi.
The Jackson Police Department identified the victim as Anthony Watts. The incident occurred in the 600 block of Northpointe Parkway. Police said Watts was shot and died at the scene.
Homicide detectives arrested 42-year-old Patrick Harris in connection with the shooting. Harris faces charges of murder, aggravated assault, and shooting into an occupied vehicle, and is being held at the Jackson Police Department pending his initial court appearance.
