Authorities report that two women lost their lives in a two-vehicle collision in Mannford, Oklahoma, on Friday evening.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol confirmed the victims as 41-year-old Ashlee Metcalfe and 33-year-old Emily Mouse. The crash occurred shortly after 6 p.m. at the intersection of State Highway 48 and Carson Ridge Road.
Investigators said both women were driving separate vehicles when their cars collided. The circumstances leading to the crash have not been fully determined. A passenger in Mouse’s vehicle escaped unharmed.
Officials are also examining whether weather conditions may have contributed to the collision. The investigation into the fatal crash is ongoing.
