Authorities have identified a 19-year-old woman who was shot to death in Burlington, Iowa, over the weekend.
The Burlington Police Department confirmed the victim as Janea Elizabeth Osier of Wayland. The shooting occurred on March 7, and an autopsy has been scheduled with the Iowa Office of the State Medical Examiner.
Police have arrested 22-year-old Kaysean Rice of Mt. Pleasant in connection with Osier’s death. He faces charges including second-degree murder, reckless use of a firearm, and intimidation with a dangerous weapon.
