Fatal Woodbridge head-on crash death of Amanda Chaloupka and Patrick Michael Chaloupka – Obituary
Amanda Chaloupka, 40, and Patrick Michael Chaloupka, 42, both of Woodbridge, Virginia, were killed in a head-on collision on Sunday evening, March 8, 2026. The crash occurred around 6:45 p.m. at the intersection of Cardinal Drive and Whips Run Drive.
Police reported that a 27-year-old woman driving a 2015 Hyundai Genesis the wrong way in the eastbound lanes struck the Chaloupkas’ 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe head-on. The impact caused the Santa Fe to collide with a 2025 GMC Hummer, while debris hit an unoccupied 2024 Honda Accord in a nearby driveway.
The wrong-way driver was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries. Authorities continue to investigate the crash and are asking anyone with information to contact Prince William County police.
