Fatal Hartford apartment homicide death of Linda Anthony – Obituary
Linda Anthony, 75, was fatally injured in a Hartford apartment on Washington Street on Sunday evening, March 8, 2026. Police responded around 6:58 p.m. to a report of an unresponsive woman and found Anthony suffering from severe head trauma. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers encountered a man inside the apartment who initially refused to cooperate. After gaining entry, they apprehended the suspect, 52-year-old Ottahu Holder, who has been charged with murder and interfering with police and is being held on a $1 million bond.
The Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crime Scene Divisions are leading the ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding Anthony’s death.
