Fatal Coryell County, Texas car crash death of Yasmin Lee Barrientos – Obituary
Authorities have identified the driver who died in a collision involving a trailer on FM 116 in Coryell County. The victim, 22-year-old Yasmin Lee Barrientos of Waco, was killed when her vehicle struck the back of a trailer.
The Texas Department of Public Safety reported that the crash occurred near mile marker 376, north of Copperas Cove. Barrientos was driving a 2012 Kia Soul northbound when a 2020 Kenworth truck tractor with a trailer was entering FM 116 from a loading yard. The Kia collided with the left rear quarter of the trailer.
Emergency responders pronounced Barrientos dead at the scene.
