DEKALB COUNTY, GA — Antonio Hardrick, 20, was killed early Tuesday morning after gunfire erupted during a gathering at a home on Bluebird Lane, according to the DeKalb County Police Department. Officers responded to the scene around 2 a.m. on March 10 after receiving reports of a shooting.

Police said three men were shot outside the residence during what witnesses described as a small birthday celebration attended by about 10 to 15 people. Hardrick died from his injuries, while the other two victims sustained moderate wounds and were transported to a hospital for treatment.

Family members said Hardrick had graduated from Mundy’s Mill High School in 2024 and was known as a standout athlete during his time there. His mother described him as a wonderful young man.

Authorities have not identified a suspect, and the investigation remains ongoing. Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to submit anonymous tips through the DeKalb County Police Department mobile app or by texting “DKPD” followed by a message to 847411.
