Fatal Burlington, North Dakota ATV crash death of Paul Hauser – Obituary
A Foxholm man died Sunday night after losing control of an all-terrain vehicle on a rural road near Minot.
Authorities identified the victim as 60-year-old Paul Hauser, who was driving a 2001 Polaris Magnum 500 northbound on the 7200 block of 87th Street Northwest around 7:35 p.m. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, Hauser struck a muddy patch with standing water, causing the vehicle to leave the road, enter a ditch, and overturn.
Hauser was transported to Trinity Hospital in Minot, where he was pronounced dead. Officials noted that he was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal incident.
