Fatal Jefferson County, Kansas UTV crash death of Nicholas Brull – Obituary
A young man from Effingham has died following a weekend accident involving two utility terrain vehicles in Jefferson County.
Authorities identified the victim as 20-year-old Nicholas Brull, who suffered fatal injuries when he was struck by another UTV after exiting a moving Honda UTV. The collision occurred on Sunday near the intersection of Half Mound Road and Coal Creek Road, roughly five miles north of K-16 highway.
KHP reported that the Honda and a Polaris UTV were traveling side by side heading east when the rear passenger left the Honda and was struck by the other vehicle. No additional injuries were reported.
The Kansas Highway Patrol continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the deadly accident.
