Fatal Tulsa, Oklahoma shooting death of Alexis Diaz-Vasquez – Obituary

A deadly shooting in Tulsa on Wednesday afternoon has led to a murder charge following a police investigation. Officers with the Tulsa Police Department were called to the area near 2400 N. Fulton Avenue, where they discovered 26-year-old Alexis Diaz-Vasquez suffering from a fatal gunshot wound.

Diaz-Vasquez was pronounced dead at the scene as authorities began searching for those responsible. Using FLOCK camera technology, investigators were able to track down a vehicle believed to be connected to the incident near 51st Street and Memorial Drive.

Police later arrested 20-year-old Wiyler Cabrera Abreu in connection with the case. He has since been charged with first-degree murder.

The investigation remains ongoing as officials continue to gather more details surrounding the circumstances of the shooting.
