Fatal Clear Lake Township trailer fire death of Andrew Paul Kritzeck – Obituary
Authorities have confirmed the identity of a man who lost his life in a trailer fire earlier this year in Clear Lake Township.
Andrew Paul Kritzeck, 44, was identified through DNA testing as the victim of the February 17 fire. The Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office determined that he died from carbon monoxide poisoning, with the incident ruled accidental.
Emergency crews were dispatched around 6:25 a.m. to a property along the 3100 block of River Road Southeast after reports of a fire. When deputies and firefighters arrived, they found the trailer completely consumed by flames. Once the fire was extinguished, a body was discovered inside the remains.
Kritzeck, known as Andy to those close to him, is remembered by family and friends as a devoted father of four.
In the wake of the tragedy, the local community has come together to support his family. A fundraiser has been organized to assist with immediate costs and to help provide for his children moving forward, raising nearly $30,000 so far.
Additional contributions, including monetary donations and gift cards, are being accepted at St. Katharine Drexel School in St. Cloud.
