Stephen A. White Jr. dies in fatal Madbury mobile home fire

Fatal Madbury mobile home fire death of Stephen A. White Jr. – Obituary

Stephen A. White Jr., 56, of Madbury, was killed in a mobile home fire earlier this month, authorities confirmed. The New Hampshire Office of the Chief Medical Examiner reported that White died from carbon monoxide poisoning, and his death has been ruled accidental.

The fire broke out just before midnight on March 5 at a home on Bunker Lane. Firefighters from the Madbury Fire Department arrived to find the mobile home fully engulfed and its sole occupant missing. Efforts to extinguish the flames were hampered by a roof collapse, delaying full access to the structure. Once the fire was controlled, White was found inside the home.

Investigators from the New Hampshire State Fire Marshal’s Office are leading the inquiry into the fire’s cause. Officials have stated that the incident is not considered suspicious, and no first responders were injured during the emergency response.
