Authorities have identified a 28-year-old woman who lost her life in a multi-vehicle crash on the Harbor (110) Freeway in downtown Los Angeles. Isla Solis Hernandez was pronounced dead at the scene following the early morning collision.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 1:50 a.m. Sunday on the northbound lanes near the Third Street on-ramp. The incident involved three vehicles, one of which overturned and caught fire.

Emergency crews from the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the scene, where Hernandez was declared deceased. Another woman injured in the crash was transported to a hospital in critical condition.

The circumstances leading up to the collision remain under investigation as officials work to determine what caused the crash.
