Fatal Columbus shooting death of Dekevin Louis – Obituary

Dekevin Louis was found fatally shot Wednesday morning inside a building believed to be an after-hours club on the 1600 block of Lockbourne Road in Columbus. The building’s owner discovered Louis around 7:30 a.m., and he was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after.

Police have not determined when the shooting occurred, as no overnight gunfire was reported in the area. Detectives are reviewing nearby surveillance footage to establish a timeline. Authorities do not believe the shooting was self-inflicted, and no suspects have been identified.
