The tragic motorcycle crash death of 20-year-old Carsyn Storm in Omaha, Nebraska, has been confirmed by authorities.
The Nebraska State Patrol identified Carsyn Storm as the motorcyclist who lost his life on Saturday night after a high-speed chase. The incident occurred around 8 p.m. when Storm, fleeing a traffic stop, ran a red light and collided with a van near 120th and I Street. The chase, which began near Interstate 680 and Pacific Street, lasted approximately five minutes and saw speeds exceeding 100 miles per hour before the crash occurred.
While the two occupants of the van sustained minor injuries and received medical attention, Storm was pronounced dead at the scene. The Nebraska State Patrol has requested that the Omaha Police Department lead the investigation into the incident.
