Fatal Davey, Nebraska UTV crash death of Andrew Koss – Obituary
Andrew Koss, a 45-year-old Nebraska resident, has been identified as the victim in a tragic UTV accident that occurred Sunday night in Davey.
According to deputies, Koss was a passenger in a 2021 Kawasaki Mule UTV driven by his wife, Sheila Koss, also 45.
The accident happened when Andrew Koss fell out of the moving vehicle while attempting to switch seats. Emergency responders transported him to a hospital in Lincoln, where he was pronounced dead.
The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident to understand the events that led to the crash, with alcohol and seat belt use being noted as contributing factors. The investigation is ongoing.
