Jamar Emmanuel Jenifer dies in fatal Silver Spring shooting
Fatal Silver Spring shooting death of Jamar Emmanuel Jenifer – Obituary
Authorities have identified Jamar Emmanuel Jenifer, a 34-year-old from Washington, D.C., as the victim of a shooting in Silver Spring on Labor Day.
Jenifer was discovered with gunshot wounds on the 8000 block of 13th Street, close to the Washington, D.C. border.
Montgomery County police and fire rescue teams arrived at the scene around 9:42 a.m.
Despite their attempts to save him, Jenifer was declared dead at the location. The police have not yet apprehended a suspect and are treating the incident as a homicide.
A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest.
