Fatal Marin County plane crash claims the life of Jeffrey Buren Khahling – Obituary
Authorities in Marin County have identified the pilot involved in the small plane crash that occurred at Gnoss Field in Novato on Saturday afternoon.
The Marin County Sheriff’s Office reported that the Meyers Aero Commander 200D aircraft went down shortly after taking off around 3:50 p.m. on Saturday, crashing into a hangar and igniting a fire. Officials later confirmed that the pilot did not survive the accident.
On Tuesday, the sheriff’s office coroner division officially identified the deceased as 75-year-old Jeffrey Buren Khahling, a resident of Redding.
