Fatal Coral Springs shooting death of Rohan Noel Malcolm – Obituary.
Authorities have identified the man allegedly killed by his wife in Coral Springs on Saturday as 52-year-old Rohan Noel Malcolm, according to police reports.
Denise Malcolm, 45, is accused of fatally shooting her husband, Rohan, multiple times during a domestic dispute at their home located in the 10500 block of Northwest 43rd Street, per the Coral Springs Police arrest report.
At around 6:30 p.m., police received a 911 call from a boy inside the house reporting that a man had been shot. Upon arriving, officers took cover outside the home and ordered everyone inside to come out.
Two children exited the home before officers reportedly heard a gunshot from within.
A short time later, Denise Malcolm emerged from the residence and was taken into custody. She has been charged with premeditated murder and is currently held without bond at the Paul Rein Detention Facility in Pompano Beach.
Inside the home, police found Rohan Malcolm deceased on the bedroom floor, having suffered multiple gunshot wounds.
According to reports from Jamaican news outlets, Rohan Malcolm had previously worked as an IT specialist for the Jamaica Observer newspaper.
A firearm was discovered at the scene, Coral Springs Police Chief Bradley McKeone confirmed on Sunday.
Authorities have not yet disclosed a motive for the shooting.
