Albertaus Peek dies in fatal Blue Ridge Parkway motorcycle crash in North Carolina
Fatal Blue Ridge Parkway motorcycle accident claims the life of Albertaus Peek – Obituary.
A tragic accident took the life of 67-year-old Albertaus Peek, a tourist from Bodegraven, Netherlands, as he was riding his motorcycle along the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina.
According to the National Park Service, the crash occurred on Monday, September 9, around 2:30 p.m., when Peek veered into oncoming traffic on the mountainous road.
Authorities reported that Peek, who was riding with a group, lost control while navigating a curve, causing him to cross into the opposite lane and collide with a northbound vehicle. Unfortunately, he died at the scene of the accident. The driver of the other vehicle sustained only minor injuries.
