Virginia State Police are investigating a deadly single-vehicle accident in Accomack County that occurred on Sunday afternoon. Authorities report that a man was found deceased under a golf cart at the 35000 block of Robin Lane, within the Trails End Campground in Horntown, at approximately 12:07 p.m.
The deceased has been identified as 54-year-old Robert Jude Vandornick Jr. According to a spokesperson for the Virginia State Police, Vandornick was operating a golf cart in his backyard when he took a curve too sharply, causing the vehicle to drive over an embankment and overturn.
