Thomas Duncan dies in fatal Harrison Township car crash
Fatal Harrison Township car crash death of Thomas Duncan – Obituary.
A 76-year-old man, Thomas Duncan, tragically passed away following a car accident in Harrison Township on Friday evening. The incident, which also left another individual with injuries, occurred at the intersection of North Dixie Drive and Wilding Avenue around 6 p.m.
Duncan was driving his 2007 GMC pickup truck south on North Dixie Drive when he attempted to turn left, crossing into the path of a 2006 Porsche Boxster driven by a 33-year-old man traveling north. The two vehicles collided, causing Duncan’s truck to overturn and come to rest on Wilding Avenue.
Emergency responders removed Duncan from his vehicle and transported him to Kettering Health Dayton, where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the Porsche suffered minor injuries and was taken to Miami Valley Hospital but was later released.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Services Unit continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
