Fatal Portland shooting death of Anthony J. Garland – Obituary.
Authorities have identified the victim of a deadly shooting in the Lloyd District. The Portland Police Bureau reported that 44-year-old Anthony J. Garland was shot and killed at approximately 5:30 p.m. on September 10, 2024, near the intersection of Northeast Grand Avenue and Northeast 6th Avenue.
The medical examiner has ruled Garland’s death a homicide resulting from gunfire. Investigators are actively pursuing leads in this ongoing homicide case.
