Fatal Arizona collision death of Raul Garcia – Obituary
The Arizona Department of Public Safety has confirmed the identities of three individuals who lost their lives in a tragic accident involving a commercial truck and an SUV near the New Mexico border. The incident took place on Saturday at 5:10 p.m. in San Simon when a commercial truck traveling east on Interstate 10 experienced a blowout of its front left tire. This mechanical failure caused the vehicle to veer into oncoming traffic, resulting in a collision with the SUV. The crash also led to a fire in the tractor-trailer.
The deceased have been identified as a 17-year-old male from El Paso, Texas; 26-year-old Juan Emilio Moreno from Sunland Park, New Mexico; and 34-year-old Christina Cecilia Sanchez, also from El Paso. The truck driver was airlifted to a hospital, along with two passengers from the SUV. As of Thursday, one of the SUV occupants remains in critical condition, although details on their identity have not been disclosed.
